I loved the Opus. In fact this may surprise you, but I liked it better than The Secret. it was easier to understand and apply to my life. I also loved the story. For me it was more inspirational and pertinent on so many levels. You will enjoy this film.

Actually, I have no idea who James Ray is. I've never been to any of his seminars and have no clue what he's all about. I certainly doubt I'll be signing up for anything with this guy and it's pretty rare that I purchase any "success" anything let alone an audio DVD that wastes the video potential of that medium.

The Opus was an incredible movie. I agree don't compare it with the Secret. It is not the sequel to the secret, but is a very good companion piece. I loved it. The secret the what, the Opus answers the HOW.

On another note I went to Douglas Vermeeren's seminar MAXIMUM ACHIEVEMENT it was really astounding. I have been attending seminars for a while and I found this one really delivers. This guy is definitely someone I highly recommend. Up there with greats like Tony Robbins, Jack Canfield, Zig Ziglar and others. Powerful in The Opus - Even more dynamic in person.

I really enjoyed the Secret. And I feel strongly that The Opus is clearly the next step. it was a great movie and although many are unofficially calling it a sequel to the secret, the movie is the perfect companion peice for the secret. It features many of the cast returning, but I feel goes far more in depth into the practical application of the law of attraction and how to really get to everything you want in your life. I was impressed with so many of the speakers. I always love John Demartini and Joe Vitale. But there were many new faces as well. one who I particularly liked was Douglas Vermeeren, the creator of the Opus. Great lessons from all. I encourage everyone to see this film. if you are wondering how to really take the lessons of the law of attraction and make them real in your life you need to see this movie. it is inspirational, entertaining and most of all practical steps that you can actually use to get ahead in life. www.TheOpusMovie.com

Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is filled with instances of The Secret principles. Read a short essay that draws parallels between the message of The Secret and the 19th century English novel here http://humanscience.wikia.com/wiki/The_Principles_of_The_Secret_in_Pride_and_Prejudice

Many suggest that luck is something you do. I often tell my patients that what we focus upon tends to become our reality, because we will likely do things, both consciously and unconsciously, consistent with that focus, in order to help make it happen. By sharing my following, personal story, I hope you may be helped to find what you are truly looking for.

When my son was a 6 year-old, Nicholas told me that he wanted to find a four-leaf clover, because he had heard that they bring you good luck. Unable to find one quickly, he became frustrated and discouraged. I tried to explain to him that four-leaf clovers are special because they are rare and difficult to find. I assured him that if he really wants to find a four-leaf clover that he needs to really believe and know that he can. I helped emphasize to him that as you feel it to be true, you can and will do things and allow things to happen, in order to help you find your clover. I had actually first suggested to him what seemingly defeats my son's initial intent: I told Nicholas that we could see whether we could find a four-leaf clover on the Internet. We found one on Ebay. After a couple of dollars and a few days, Nicholas had his four-leaf clover from New Zealand. After receiving it, however, he looked at me and said: But, Daddy, I want to find my own four-leaf clover (which, of course, is the whole point).

After again getting frustrated while looking in our front yard, that is when I told Nicholas about the power of his own belief.Shortly after that time, almost without even seemingly trying, he had literally found at least two dozen four-leaf clovers!I have only recently discovered that within Rhonda Byrne's best-selling book, Ths Secret, she states that children seem to be particularly atoned to the concepts contained within her inspirational message. Her basic tenant is that the things upon which we focus tend to become our reality, as we allow things to happen and do things, consistent with this structured focus, in order to manifest our desires.

"The Secret" emphasizes the power inherent within the "Law of Attraction." Although all the ideas shared within this remarkable program are not necessarily based in science, one can nonetheless benefit from acting as if the ideas are all-true, in order to facilitate success. I believe that the true wisdom of "The Secret" is its ability to captivate a world's imagination, by offering its heartfelt reminder of the true nature of limitless possibilities and the power of human perseverance.

Nineteenth century philosopher, Arthur Schopenhauer, likely summed it best when he said that "All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident."

James is an outstanding speaker and motivator. I went to one of his free seminars to truly get a feel for what he is teaching, and i was amazed. I am signing up for his "Harmonic Wealth" weekend to better the future for myself and my family. I also purchased his "Science to Success" audio DVDs and i listen to them everyday. It has vastly improved my life by really making me look forward to a bright future.

When you are working with the Law of Attraction you are working with the Universe.

In this sense the Universe isn't something God created (as in astronomy), the Universe IS God.

I have bought the book "The Secret" and have not read that much of it yet, but from what I have read I was wondering where God fits in the picture, what about God when looking for answers, looking for help with everything and anything.
