You will see many familiar faces from The Secret Movie along with some new faces.

Learn more about The Opus Movie.

The Opus was an incredible movie. I agree don’t compare it with the Secret. It is not the sequel to the secret, but is a very good companion piece. I loved it. The secret the what, the Opus answers the HOW.
On another note I went to Douglas Vermeeren’s seminar MAXIMUM ACHIEVEMENT it was really astounding. I have been attending seminars for a while and I found this one really delivers. This guy is definitely someone I highly recommend. Up there with greats like Tony Robbins, Jack Canfield, Zig Ziglar and others. Powerful in The Opus – Even more dynamic in person.
I loved the Opus. In fact this may surprise you, but I liked it better than The Secret. it was easier to understand and apply to my life. I also loved the story. For me it was more inspirational and pertinent on so many levels. You will enjoy this film.
This was an incredible movie. I enjoyed it very very much. I was pleased to see that Douglas Vermeeren, the creator of The OPus is now getting ready for a second movie called The Gratitude Experiment. I think this will be an incredible movie which proposes to answer the age long question, who is right science or faith and can the two co-exist? What an interesting question to pose. I was in a religion class just last week where it was heavily debated as to whether or not Jesus Christ was simply a scientist who understood the right principles to create the healings that he did. Or was he a man of faith? Or was he the son of God? What a fascinating question. Who was he really? I am glad to see Vermeeren tackling such an important topic as faith vs. Science. The Movies
The Secret came out on DVD in 2006 and came into mainstream in 2007. The Opus was released in 2008 but had been in pre-production since 2005. Most people feel that had The Opus beat The Secret to marketplace the story of success may have been quite different. While both movies feature several of the same speakers and similar messages, the presentation is very different. The camps are not severely divided between the two films however, as they both offer a very different presentation.
Rhonda Byrne has never made an official statement on which film came first and neither has Douglas Vermeeren the producer of The Opus. Both films claim to stand independent one from another, although most people consider the Opus the Secret’s sequel. (How intriguing it is to consider that it may actually be chronologically the other way around.)
The Books
The secret book was released in many markets at the conclusion of 2006, but saw most of it’s success in 2007. The book based on The Opus is yet to be released. Some reports have suggested The Opus book will be coming out through Random house in early 2010.
